How things started

At Lyft, I was challenged to create an extension to the existing brand image library that continued the legacy of a fun, friendly, and vibrant community at Lyft.

This image refresh was part of a larger brand push to reimagine and extend our identity while creating a cohesive set of images that could be used for any of our many social, digital, and environmental needs.

I worked with internal teams to access needs, get buy-in, and create a deliverables list. I oversaw pre-production, production, and post-production, working with stylists, photographers, editors, and designers at all points of creative.

We started with a retrospective video of the last 10 years, as a thank you to all the visual creators of the brand.

Next, we reimagined the future of Lyft photography, so all parts of the brand would feel cohesive.

Finally, we created new guidelines for how images should be used, and let the team take it from there.

The Final Image

The result was 300+ bright, bold, inclusive, and energetic images to be used for all Lyft’s business needs.
